Uralla & Surrounds

Tourist Drive 19 surrounds Uralla and makes its way to Dangarsleigh War Memorial, Dangar’s Falls and Gorge, then the glade and chapel at Gostwyck. The chapel, set down in miniature, is classically English, covered with Virginia creeper and surrounded by an avenue of 200 English elms.

In Uralla visit the New England Brass and Iron Lace Foundry, which was established in 1872 and is the oldest continuously operating foundry in Australia.

McCrossin’s Mill Museum, a superbly restored three-storey flourmill, houses historic information and exhibitions on Uralla and the district.
